On August 9, 2012, Birka-White Law Offices filed a nationwide class action lawsuit against Flushmate, a division of Sloan Valve Company and American Standard Brands on behalf of owners of toilets containing the Series 503 Flushmate III Pressure-Assisted flushing system. 

On August 23, 2012, Birka-White Law Offices filed a nationwide class action lawsuit against Flushmate, a division of Sloan Valve Company and Kohler, Inc. on behalf of owners of toilets containing the Series 503 Flushmate III Pressure-Assisted flushing system. 

On September 12, 2012, Birka-White Law Offices filed a nationwide class action lawsuit against Flushmate, a division of Sloan Valve Company and Gerber Plumbing Fixtures, LLC on behalf of owners of toilets containing the Series 503 Flushmate III Pressure-Assisted flushing system. 

On October 5, 2012, the three Flushmate lawsuits were consolidated in the Central District of California where the first-filed class action lawsuit originated.
